When people first visit Mitchell Grove, they don’t talk about parking.
They don’t ask about electrical panels or water lines. They aren’t thinking about where the DJ plugs in or how vendors will move through the space.
They see the redwoods.
That’s the dream.
Towering trees. A private forest. The feeling that you’ve stepped into somewhere timeless.
But after couples start planning, something interesting happens.
They realize a beautiful location is only part of the equation.
A wedding also needs enough room for guests to gather comfortably. Water. Electricity. Restrooms that actually flush. Parking that works. Space for vendors to set up and do their jobs. A ceremony site, a reception area, room to dance, and places to simply breathe between moments.
None of those things are particularly glamorous.
They’re the parts that disappear when they’re done well.
Our goal has always been to preserve the feeling of celebrating in the redwoods while quietly providing the infrastructure that lets the day unfold smoothly.
