At Mitchell Grove, even the simplest details can make a big difference as you’re setting up. These sturdy rectangular tables, part of our lending closet, live in the hall and are ready for couples to use however they like. We’ve seen them become buffet lines, dessert displays, and guest book stations.
One of the smartest hacks we’ve noticed: using a bin underneath the table for organization. Couples pack everything for that table into a bin — décor, signs, linens, or serving pieces. When the wedding team shows up, they simply pull the bin out, place everything on the table, and the setup is done with no confusion and no extra questions. Add a photo of the finished product if you can, and your vision is clear for everyone.
It’s a small detail, but it saves stress and time — exactly what a DIY wedding should be about.
