Sometimes the simplest ideas turn out the most beautiful. This couple loved hydrangeas, and at the time our garden bushes were overflowing with blooms. They asked if they could use a few for their ceremony, and we said yes — of course.
The flowers went into jars of water, which were then hung on the chairs lining the aisle. Nothing fancy, nothing fussy — just local hydrangeas, fresh and in season, gathered right from Mitchell Grove.
